Tia’s Circle is a heart-led initiative dedicated to helping families feel seen, supported, and surrounded—especially those raising children with big emotions, anxiety, sensory needs, or social challenges. A Lucero Speaks, LLC program, Tia’s Circle offers a trained AI parent guide, a searchable support directory, and access to curated tools and community spaces. Whether you’re navigating a meltdown before school, searching for the right therapist, or just looking for someone who gets it, Tia’s Circle is here to walk beside you with empathy, evidence-based support, and real-world resources. When you use the Tia’s Circle services, you’ll share some information with us. So we want to be upfront about the information we collect, how we use it, whom we share it with, and the controls we give you to access, update, and delete your information.
That’s why we’ve really put some effort into writing this Privacy Policy in a way that’s easy to understand for all our users and free of the legalese that often pervades privacy policies. Of course, if you still have questions about anything in our Privacy Policy, just contact us.
Information We Collect
There are three basic categories of information we collect:
Here’s some more detail on each of these categories.
Information You Provide
When you interact with our services, we collect information that you provide to us. For example, many of our services require you to set up an account, so we may need to get a few important details about you, such as your name, username, password, and email address. If you are searching through listings from Wellness Contributors, you will need to provide a zip code. A Tia’s Circle service that requires a subscription will require you to provide us with a debit or credit card number and its associated account information. In addition, if you are a Wellness Contributors subscribing or leaving a review, we also ask for your address and phone number. For subscriptions, we use a third-party service for payment processing (e.g. a payment processor). As of the date of this Privacy Policy, the third party service we use is Stripe. We will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to Stripe whose use of your personal information is governed by their privacy policy. Payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of payment information.
If you are creating a Wellness Contributor account to offer cool helpful stuff, other resources or your services via listings, you’ll also be asked to provide your organization name (if any), and in some cases a profile picture and a brief story about yourself or your organization. As a Wellness Contributor you will provide information about your services, events, or resources within a directory viewable by parents and other users.
When you contact customer support or communicate with us in any other way, we’ll collect whatever information you volunteer including information that we need to resolve your question.
Users such as parents may provide a variety of information while interacting with the trained AI chat guide which we call the AI Parent Coach, which provides personalized, real-time support for navigating parenting challenges.
Users may provide information when providing reviews of Wellness Contributors and the like.
Information We Get When You Use Our Services
When you use our services, we collect information about which of those services you’ve used and how you’ve used them. We might know, for instance, that you interacted with the AI Parent Coach for a certain period of time or searched a particular type of listing. Here’s a fuller explanation of the types of information we collect when you use our services:
Information We Collect from Third Parties
We may collect information about you from third parties. Advertisers, app developers, publishers, and other third parties may share information with us. We may use this information, among other ways, to help target or measure the performance of ads.
How We Use Information
What do we do with the information we collect? The short answer is: Provide you with a truly helpful set of features and services that we continuously improve. Here are the ways we do that:
How We Share Information
We may share information about you in the following ways:
Third-Party Content and Integrations
Our services contain third-party content and integration with the third party service which provides functionality for the AI Parent Coach. Through this integration, you may be providing information to the third party as well as to Tia’s Circle. Specifically, when you provide information to the AI Parent Coach, that functionality is provided by OpenAI, and OpenAI may use that information for a variety of purposes, including to respond to your questions, develop its services and conduct research, all in accordance with OpenAI’s privacy policy.
How Long We Keep Your Information
We store your basic account information — like your name, phone number, and email address —until you ask us to delete them.
If you ever decide to stop using Tia’s Circle, you can ask us to delete your account. If you stop using Tia’s Circle for long enough that it appears you’ve become inactive, we’ll also delete most of the information we’ve collected about you.
We can’t promise that deletion will occur within a specific timeframe. There may be legal requirements to store your data and we may need to suspend those deletion practices if we receive valid legal process asking us to preserve content, if we receive reports of abuse or other Terms of Service violations, or if your account, content created by you or content created with other users is flagged by others or our systems for abuse or other Terms of Service violations. Finally, we may also retain certain information in backup for a limited period of time or as required by law.
Control Over Your Information
We want you to be in control of your information, so we provide you with the following tools.
State Law Specific Privacy Rights
At this point as a business Tia’s Circle is focused on a discrete number of users, and it is likely that state privacy statutes do not apply to us. If that changes, we will update this Privacy Policy to accommodate specific state laws. You can request deletion of your account, request to know which types of service providers we may disclose your personal information to (generally, it’s a cloud storage provider, communication provider, subscription service provider, payment processor and data analytics provider(s), all for the sole purpose of providing our service to you and providing relevant ads), and know that you won’t be discriminated against because you want to exercise these rights. In each of those cases, we’ll do our best, but if we fall short, just let us know and we’ll keep working with you until we get it right.
Children
Our services are not intended for — and we don’t direct them to — anyone under 13. And that’s why we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
Revisions to the Privacy Policy
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time and we’ll let you know. Sometimes, we’ll let you know by revising the date at the top of the Privacy Policy that’s available on our website so it’s a good idea to check back from time to time. Other times, especially when it’s a major update or an update that may expand how we use your information, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our website’s homepage or sending you an email).
