Need help but not sure where to start?
SAFE’s Forensic Nursing program provides compassionate, confidential medical care and evidence collection after sexual assault, abuse, or interpersonal violence—24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Whether the incident happened recently or some time ago, SAFE’s specially trained nurses will listen without judgment and help you take the next steps toward healing and justice.
Services are free, confidential, and do not require police involvement. You can walk in or be referred by a hospital, school, or community partner.

After an assault, many survivors don’t know where to turn—or worry about what will happen if they speak up. SAFE’s forensic nurses provide gentle, empowering care that centers the survivor’s needs and choices. Services include injury documentation, STI prevention, pregnancy prevention, and forensic exams if desired—all in a private, secure space.

SAFE’s forensic nursing program provides medical care and evidence collection for survivors of recent sexual violence, in partnership with hospitals and legal systems—focused on immediate, in-person response to trauma.
Tia's Circle focuses on long-term emotional support for families navigating daily parenting struggles, emotional regulation, and stress—not crisis care or evidence-based services.
Because no one should go through this alone. SAFE’s forensic nurses are here—day or night—to help you feel safe, respected, and in control again.
