❤️ Care Model Quality Standards & Requirements

Our directory is more than a list—it’s a community built on trust, belonging, and quality care. These guidelines ensure every listing uplifts families and reflects the heart of our mission.

🌈 Find Fun

Joy isn’t just extra. It’s essential.

We believe that emotional wellness starts with connection, creativity, and belonging. Find Fun listings create spaces where kids and families can feel safe to laugh, move, create, and connect — without pressure, judgment, or competition.

Ideal Listings Will:

– Be intentionally designed for youth, teens, or caregivers to feel welcomed, celebrated, and engaged.
– Create low-pressure, sensory-friendly, or beginner-welcoming environments that honor diverse needs.
– Prioritize joy, imagination, movement, and community over achievement or comparison.
– Be led by adults trained in positive youth development, SEL, trauma-informed care, or developmental needs.
– Clearly describe the atmosphere, accessibility features, and who will feel most at home.

If you create spaces where kids can feel safe just being themselves — you belong here.

🤝 Meet Others

We are wired for connection — and healing happens in safe community.

Meet Others listings offer not just activities, but places of real belonging. Whether it’s a social group, support circle, or skills-based gathering, these experiences help kids and families realize they are not alone.

Ideal Listings Will:

– Focus on building connection, resilience, and life skills (not labels or clinical diagnoses).
– Be facilitated by trained leaders, lived-experience guides, or community-based mentors who foster safety and trust.
– Embrace youth and caregivers of all identities — including neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, grieving, and sensitive youth.
– Create consistent, welcoming spaces where courage, kindness, and vulnerability are nurtured.
– Clearly outline group goals, expectations, accessibility, and who the group is best designed to support.

If you believe every child deserves a circle where they are celebrated, not fixed — you belong here.

💼 Find a Pro

Families deserve more than a name on a list — they deserve trusted guides for the journey.

Find a Pro listings are for those called to support youth and families with integrity, compassion, and expertise. You’re not just offering services — you’re offering families a bridge to hope, skills, and healing.

Ideal Listings Will:

– Be provided by licensed therapists, certified coaches, or experienced professionals deeply committed to evidence-based, trauma-informed, affirming care.
– Be developmentally appropriate, culturally responsive, and rooted in strengths, not deficits.
– Offer clear information about specializations (anxiety, grief, neurodivergence, identity development, and more) so families can find the right fit.
– Use welcoming, jargon-free language that makes it easier — not harder — for families to take the next step.

If you see your work as a sacred trust — not just a service — you belong here.

⚡ Crisis Support

When families are at their most vulnerable, they deserve a clear path to care.

Crisis Support listings are the lifelines — the calm in the chaos. These services ensure that no family has to navigate urgent needs alone or in fear.

Ideal Listings Will:

– Be staffed by licensed, trained professionals experienced in youth crisis response, acute mental health care, or family-centered safety planning.
– Offer clear access instructions, eligibility criteria, and immediate steps — no guesswork, no red tape.
– Be trauma-informed, youth-centered, and actively supportive of family dignity and empowerment.
– Provide 24/7 availability, mobile response options, or rapid stabilization where possible, always aiming to lower barriers to help.

If you believe no family should have to navigate crisis alone — you belong here.

Standards & Requirements

To ensure that every listing in our directory is safe, helpful, and truly supports youth and families, we have clear guidelines on what we accept and what we do not allow

✅ What We Accept in the Directory

We welcome programs, services, and resources that:

    • Are specifically designed for kids, teens, or families
    • Your offering is built with youth and families in mind, rather than being a general service for all ages.
    • Support emotional well-being, mental health, or personal growth
    • This could be therapy, coaching, skill-building programs, community support, or wellness-focused activities.
    • Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment
    • Listings must be free from discrimination and should support diverse needs, including accommodations for disabilities and neurodiversity.
    • Are led by qualified professionals or experienced facilitators
    • Clinical services should be provided by licensed therapists, and all programs should be led by knowledgeable, well-trained individuals.
    • Use evidence-based, strengths-based, trauma-informed, or developmentally appropriate approaches
    • We look for resources that are backed by research or widely recognized as effective for youth and families.
    • Provide transparent and ethical services
    • Listings must clearly explain what is offered, who it’s for, and any costs involved.

🚫 What We Do NOT Allow in the Directory

We do not allow listings that could harm, mislead, or take advantage of families and youth.

This includes:

    • Anything that could harm kids, teens, or families – No programs or services that use unsafe methods, coercion, or neglect youth safety.
    • False or misleading mental health claims – If a program or product makes promises it can’t back up (e.g., “cures ADHD in one session!”), it won’t be allowed.
    • High-pressure sales tactics, scams, or financial exploitation – No MLMs, pay-to-play schemes, or misleading sales strategies.
    • Discriminatory, exclusionary, or stigmatizing content – Programs must be inclusive and free from discrimination based on race, gender, ability, religion, or identity.
    • Unlicensed providers claiming to offer medical or mental health treatment – Therapy services must be provided by a licensed professional. Peer support and coaching are allowed but must be clearly labeled.
    • Programs that use fear, shame, or manipulation – No “tough love” boot camps, scare tactics, or services that rely on harmful discipline techniques.
    • Content that promotes self-harm, substance abuse, or unsafe behaviors – Any listing that encourages harmful coping strategies, extreme dieting, or other dangerous behaviors will not be accepted.

🔍 Why These Standards Matter

We are building a trusted, high-quality directory for families looking for real, safe, and effective mental health and wellness support. These standards ensure families feel confident in the resources they find, while also protecting the integrity of the directory.

Once approved, your listing will be published in our directory, making it easier for families to find and connect with the right support. If a listing is not approved, we will provide feedback and next steps.
