Description
Mustering the energy to reach out for help is the first step in healing and I hope to meet you where you are as we travel that road of wellness together.
I am a Certified Eco/Art Therapist with a deep commitment to integrating creativity, spirituality, and earth based, holistic practices into therapeutic interventions. As a third culture kid (TCK) lifelong artist and former educator, I bring a unique perspective and diverse skill set to each therapy session. My background allows me to connect with clients from various walks of life, fostering an environment of empathy and understanding. With extensive experience in art therapy, grief counseling, and trauma support, I create healing spaces where clients can explore personal growth and emotional well-being, after we develop trust and co-author a treatment plan for success.
My goal is to foster steady growth through evidence based approaches and drawing from my own personal experiences of learning how to heal. My portfolio includes a background in bodyworks, midwifery, yoga, meditation and earth practices stemming from a lifetime love of gardening, hiking and travel.
I have experience with trauma-informed care, mindfulness, movement, divorce, anxiety, ambiguous grief, depression, LGBTQIA, tweens, adolescents, adults, & elders. I am also open to what is currently called "alternative" approaches. From my educational background expect bibliotherapy and journaling to be part of the plan.
I look forward to connecting with you as you walk through your healing journey.
