Description

Jill is a radiant presence at Community Arts — a true sunbeam whose warmth, optimism, and encouragement brighten every room she walks into. With a heart for people and a passion for creativity, Jill brings over 25 years of experience as an artist and art educator into her role as a licensed professional counselor and registered art therapist.

With a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health and Expressive Arts Therapy, Jill creates a welcoming space where clients feel truly seen and supported. She believes deeply in meeting people exactly where they are — honoring each person’s unique journey while gently guiding them toward growth, insight, and self-empowerment.

Jill’s approach is Person-Centered, trauma-informed, and grounded in compassion. She is certified in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®) and specializes in working with children, teens, and families — offering both traditional talk therapy and expressive arts processes. Whether it’s through conversation, painting, play, or collage, Jill helps her clients discover their inner strengths and learn tools for building a life they love.

She also facilitates several groups at Community Arts, creating spaces where connection, creativity, and shared healing take center stage. Jill empowers her clients through mindfulness and simple daily practices that move them closer to their goals and dreams — always reminding them that transformation is possible, one step at a time.

Above all, Jill is your biggest cheerleader — always rooting for you, always reminding you that healing and hope are possible.
