❤️ Care Model Quality Standards & Requirements

Listing Standards & Directory Guidelines

To ensure every listing in our directory is safe, helpful, and truly supports youth and families, we have clear guidelines on what we accept and what we do not allow.

✅ What We Accept in the Directory

  • Designed for youth and families: Your program should be built with kids, teens, or caregivers in mind—not just general audiences.
  • Supports emotional well-being or personal growth: Therapy, coaching, skill-building, community support, or wellness-focused activities are welcome.
  • Creates a safe, inclusive environment: Listings must be non-discriminatory and accommodating to diverse needs, including disabilities and neurodiversity.
  • Led by qualified professionals: Clinical services must be provided by licensed therapists; all facilitators should have relevant experience and training.
  • Uses trusted, effective methods: We prioritize evidence-based, strengths-based, trauma-informed, or developmentally appropriate approaches.
  • Provides clear and ethical information: Listings should clearly outline what is offered, who it's for, and any associated costs.

🚫 What We Do NOT Allow in the Directory

  • Harmful or unsafe programs: Any listing that endangers youth or uses coercion or unsafe methods will be denied.
  • False or misleading claims: Mental health claims must be truthful and evidence-based.
  • Exploitative business practices: We don’t allow high-pressure sales tactics, scams, MLMs, or deceptive financial models.
  • Discrimination or exclusion: Listings must be inclusive regardless of race, gender, religion, ability, or identity.
  • Unlicensed treatment claims: Mental health services must be delivered by licensed professionals. Peer support and coaching are welcome but must be clearly labeled.
  • Fear, shame, or manipulation: No “tough love” or discipline tactics that rely on fear or harm.
  • Promotion of unsafe behaviors: Listings that encourage self-harm, extreme dieting, or substance use are not allowed.

Why These Standards Matter

We are building a trusted, high-quality directory for families looking for real, safe, and effective mental health and wellness support. These standards ensure families feel confident in the resources they find, while also protecting the integrity of the directory.

What Happens Next?

All listings are reviewed by a member of our team. If additional information is needed, we’ll reach out before approval.

Once approved, your listing will be published—making it easier for families to find and connect with you. If a listing is not approved, we’ll offer clear feedback and next steps.
